Fruit Bats - 2010-03-26 - The Mill - Iowa City, IA

I caught Fruit Bats at LouFest in St. Louis, MO last August and was really into their sound. The Chicago born band reminded of some good old classic rock I suppose, particularly Led Zeppelin. Very nostalgic feeling stuff. They cover Harry Nilsson, Bob Dylan AND Neil Young (Revolution Blues!) in this set from 2010. Check out this KEXP Seattle video below to get a visual taste.

Flamingo
Feather Bed
Primitive Man
Canyon Girl
The Wind That Blew My Heart Away
Magic Hour
Blessed Breeze
Union Blanket
Jump Into the Fire (Harry Nilsson)
You Ain't Goin' Nowhere (Bob Dylan)
The Earthquake of '73
When U Love Somebody
Tegucigalpa
Beat the Retreat (Richard Thompson)
The Ruminant Band
Singing Joy to the World
Revolution Blues (Neil Young)
