Athens, Georgia natives Dead Confederate are releasing their second LP, Sugar, on August 24th. I personally enjoy these guys when I'm in the mood for some heavier rock but if the free track "Giving It All Away" suggests anything we might be seeing a slightly lighter side of this band, it's early but I'm into it. I'm yet to see these boys live but imagine it's a pretty dynamite set, they are on tour now, check them out if you can.
