My Morning Jacket August Tour Dates!!!!

My Morning Jacket will be headlining new US Tour dates this coming August. The dates will begin in San Diego on August 11th, will include a slot at the Mile High Festival, dates supporting Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and will conclude in Philadelphia on August 28th. Avi Buffalo will support the band on their San Diego and Los Angeles dates. Tickets for the shows will go on sale beginning this coming Friday, May 21st. See the shows page for more details.

dear mr. steam engine. I love your blog and visit it once every week or two. Keep it up! I was also at the columbus show a few weeks ago. Based on your photos we were extremly close to one another. You were simply a little to the right of my friends and i (looking at the stage). I was in a group of about 6 punk ass teenagers. I have incredibly thick, poofy hair. Recall at all? I wish i would have known it was you, wouldnt' give you mad props! You hittin up any august tour dates? Keep on rockin!

Chicago is the only one happening for me this go round sadly. Next big tour I'll do some traveling though for sure.
