Yim Yames will be releasing an EP of George Harrison covers. The covers were recorded shortly after Harrison's death in 2001. I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this (just like EVERYONE out there), it's slated for download on July 7th with a proper release on August 4th.Notice on the website how it says "Full length solo record coming soon." Man.
What if he tours?!?! Man that would be some righteous sh*t. Maybe I'll finally be able to sleep again, Jim's accident the eve of his solo Schuba's show still keeps me up at night. There is a "Shows" section to the Yim Yames website...

On July 7th, Yim will release a tribute to George Harrison that he recorded back in 2001. The EP will be available on yimyames.com as digital download and physical CD/LP. Until then you can stream and download “Behind That Locked Door” for free.
A portion of the proceeds from “Tribute To” will go to benefit the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary.
